HOW IT WORKS

Fine-tune watering with container height

Water is drawn from any container through a thin tube and delivered straight to the plant through the clay cone. You can control the flow simply by adjusting the height of the water container.

The water level in the water vessel

IS THE SAME OR SLIGHTLY LOWER

than the green Blumat sensor cap.

This is the ideal setup. The Blumat releases water based on the soil’s moisture level.

The water level in the water vessel

is much lower

than the green Blumat sensor cap.

Watering still responds to soil moisture, but the roots must work harder to draw in water—so the Blumat releases less.

The water level in the water vessel

is HIGHER

than the green Blumat sensor cap.

In this position, water flows directly into the cone, causing the Blumat to release water continuously—even if the soil is already moist. In this case, water discharge can be much higher.
