When working properly, water is pulled through the tube and the level inside the Blumat Classic stays almost the same. Just keep your water container filled. If it runs dry, remember to refill the Blumat too.
LONG-TERM WATERING: For best results, use opaque containers to prevent algae growth. Give your plants an extra boost by watering them with a watering can every 4–6 weeks.
MAINTENANCE: To keep your Blumat working well, clean it once a year. Simply open the unit, place both parts in warm water for about five minutes, then press the cap firmly several times under water to flush the tube. Clean the inside of the cone with a small brush and lightly sand the outside with fine sandpaper.
FERTILIZER: Liquid fertilizer can be added directly into the water container for easy plant feeding.
